Valentines Day and the rest of the weekend

I can't believe it is Tuesday already, and I am actually updating the blog again. We had a nice Valentine's Day. We went to Japenese Kitchen for lunch. We hadn't been there in a while and had gotten a gift certificate and decided to go over there. It was sooo good. We had decided earlier in the week that we going to go there for lunch and then spend the rest of the day relaxing and watching movies. It was really nice to be lazy for once. We watched a couple of really good movies. We watched the Prestige and Fireproof. Both really good movies that I highly recommend. They are both pretty long, but are worth it. I can't believe that I stayed awake for both of them. I tend to fall asleep watching movies, which Collin doesn't really enjoy, but if I can't really get into it, then I normally just fall asleep. I have done it a couple of times in the theater, which he hasn't been to happy about. But oh well. The fact that I stayed awake could have also been becasue we bought a bunch of candy and snacked on it while we watched the movies. Sunday we went to Clovis Christian for church and listened to Dad speak. It was really good and relevent for everything that is going on in our world right now. You can listen to it on the clovis christian webpage. I am sure at some point I will download it and have it on my ipod. After church Collin and I decided to buy lunch for mom and dad. So In-N-Out it was. One of our favorite places that we can never get tired of. We spent the rest of the afternoon grocery shopping and taking a nap. Cause as most people know, I always take a nap on Sunday afternoons. They are just so nice. I had yesterday off of work, but Collin didn't so I decided to go over to mom and dad's and do laundry and bake. It was nice. Although I don't think I will need to bake anytime soon with everything I made yesterday. I will try and get some pics up later. I have a few that I have been taking, so I will upload them and put them up soon hopefully. Untill next time....

So I realize its been forever since I last blogged. Life has been crazy (I may have written that in my last post, but oh well, its true). I can't believe its 2009. Christmas was good as the whole family was together. Very nice and very loud, but I am used to that. Collin and I celebrated our one year anniversary in December. Can't believe its been a year already. Actually on saturday it will be a year and two months. Time flies when your having fun. We realized that we hadn't been spending too much time together as our work schedules were different and we had something going on every night of the week, so I decided to change my work schedule. I now work 7-4 and am loving it. We leave at the same time in the morning and then I get home about 15 minutes after Collin does. It makes for less stress in the evenings and more time spent with each other.

I have realized that we need to start taking more random pics of things so that I can post them on here. I am sure once the weather gets nice again and we start going out and about more that there will be more pics to come. I have posted a few on facebook from Christmas, so if you would like to check them out there you are more than welcome too. I am hoping to be able to update a little more frequently than I have lately. Hopefully an update at least once a month rather than every 3 or 4. HAHAHA! We'll see!

A Little Update

So I realize that it has been way to long since I have last updated. Not too much has happened since then. Collin started a new job which he is loving. I am still working at Fresno Pacific. We took some pics. Our wonderful friend Cousin Bethany (send me a message if you want to know the relation, she's not really our cousin) took the pics for us. I'll try and post some of the pics, but if I can't you can go to her blog and look at them developingmemories.blogspot.com. My parents are moving back to Fresno, which I am extremely excited about. I do not enjoy not being able to see them whenever I want. I can talk to them on the phone, but its not the same, and trying to figure in the time difference... it will just be better when they are back in town. So other than that, it is life as usual. Although I don't know if I can ever say that life is usual. I guess its not when the Cubs are playing after the regular season is over. So here are a few pics of me and Collin. They were taken in downtown and turned out wonderful.

I'll upload more pics later. We are also going to take some pics in the snow for our Christmas card. So when those are done (whenever it snows, alothough it might this weekend) I'll post more up here.

It was a long weekend...

I thought I should update since it has been a while. It has been a long week for the hubby and myself. I think we are way too stretch right now, but are working on spending more time together. We went to San Fran for 4th of July with Collins sister Courtney and her boyfriend Nate. Went to the Giants/ Dodgers game and the Dodgers won. That was exciting. It was a great game. We then went to the Castro District (very interesting, if you want to know about it email me) and "watched" fireworks. It was really cold and foggy. So there wasn't much to see. But then Nate proposed to Courtney and the whole thing was worth it. We had a lot of fun together. I then got the joy of driving home. We got back to Fresno about 1:30 in the morning, jumped into bed and were out. Didn't get up until 10:30 sat morning. We tried to relax the rest of the day. Went and saw Wall-E. Great movie. Everyone needs to go see it. The rest of the weekend was pretty low key. I will try and put up some pics that have been taken since the last time I posted. Hope everyone is well!

Sometimes you love it and other times you hate it

In my last post I said that I would upload some pictures this weekend. Well, I am not sure if that is going to happen or not. My computer has gone certifiably nuts. It is about 5 years old and I think it is on the verge of crashing. I hope it doesn't because there is a lot of stuff on there that I would like to keep. I am working on getting everything off of it, so that I don't lose important things like pics. Pray that it doesn't crash before I can get the important stuff off of it.

I have a ton of pics from Chicago and Erikka's wedding, that once my computer calms down, will get posted. If not on here, then definately on my facebook. Technology is wonderful and at the same time a headache.

Other than that, it is just a normal day at work. Bored as usual; which is why I am updating the blog. I would much rather be at home where I could probably accomplish a lot more than I am doing now. Oh well, I guess making money is worth it.

We're Back. Finally!

So it has been quite a while since I have updated our blog. Well 2 months. A lot has happend since then. I walked through graduation at FPU even though i was done with classes in the Fall. My parents came into town for that. It was really nice to see them. We hadn't seen them since the wedding. The weekend after that Collin and I went to the coast to get out of the hectic that is called Fresno. It was really nice to just get away. After we got back from the coast Collin went camping with a few of his friends from high school. They had a great time. We just got back Wednesday from Chicago. We were there for a week. My sister got married on the 7th out there. So we were there for that. Collin had never been to chicago so we had to do everything while we were there. And you can't go to Chicago without going to Wrigley and see the Cubs. So we did. And they won. Which I think in all my years of seeing the Cubs at Wrigley this is the first time they won. It's actually kinda creepy. So that has been the last couple of months for us. I will try and put some pics up this weekend when I have more time.
